A special cultural weekend in July 2026 in Bad Berleburg unites music and literature in a captivating manner: On Saturday, July 11, Götz Alsmann, together with his band, presents the program “Bei Nacht” (By Night)—an atmospheric open-air evening at the Via Adrina Center (or, in the event of inclement weather, at the Bürgerhaus am Markt).

On Sunday, July 12, a unique combination of readings and music follows at the Catholic Church of St. Marien: Katja Riemann and Sebastian Knauer perform “Deutschland. Ein Wintermärchen” (Germany: A Winter’s Tale), featuring texts by Heinrich Heine, accompanied by piano works by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, and Robert Schumann.
